Welcome.

My name is Dr. Jerry Minton. I'm the President of 401(k) WealthEngine and the creator of The 401(k) FormulaTM, a unique strategy for managing self-directed retirement accounts.

You are probably here because your 401(k) investment strategy isn't working.

You are not alone.

Over the past decade, millions of 401(k) investors have seen their retirement dreams dashed as a go-nowhere stock market, punctuated by frightening declines, has produced low-to-negative long-term returns. As a result, many 401(k) investors have retreated into safe havens - bonds and stable value funds - a strategy that feels good over the near term, but lacks the investment power to grow assets with the long-term returns required for a comfortable financial future.

Your 401(k) investment strategy has followed conventional wisdom. The problem is that conventional ideas about investing are wrong and threaten the financial security of you and your family.

Conventional wisdom says to create a portfolio of stocks and bonds, add to it constantly, and hold on through thick and thin. Conventional wisdom also says to favor stocks over bonds because stocks have a much higher long-term return.

This strategy sees investing primarily as a test of character - do you have the internal fortitude to stay the course throughout the inevitable ups and downs of the stock market? If you do, so they say, you will eventually be rewarded.

The problem with conventional 401(k) investment advice is that the stock market often goes through very long periods of back-and-forth, go-nowhere volatility. These periods can last as long as 15 to 20 years. We are in one of these phases now.

During these long drawn-out correction phases, it requires almost super-human endurance to tough it out. More importantly, it destroys capital and eliminates the most powerful tool an investor has for growing assets - the power of compounding.

Consistent growth in excess of inflation produces a long-term miracle by building on past growth and amplifying it year after year. Large losses and long periods of go-nowhere volatility stop this process cold and require years of rebuilding to start it up again. There is no way to predict how many years investors may have to wait for their stock market investments to recover.

Our strategy is different. Our objective is to create gains every year. We are not out to "beat" the market. Instead, our goal is to generate consistently positive returns at a high enough rate in excess of inflation to meet reasonable retirement planning objectives. A long-term goal of 5% to 8% annual growth, after inflation, is realistic.

The 401(k) FormulaTM, our strategy, has produced returns exceeding this target over the past 20 years - even over the difficult market conditions of the past ten years. Unlike conventional 401(k) strategies, The 401(k) FormulaTM is not "in" the stock market continuously. Instead, it accepts market risk only when the odds of success are high - based on historical, causal factors which you can read about on our website. Unlike other advisory services, we explain how our strategy works, why it has worked historically and why we believe it will continue to work.

I urge you to review the historical performance of The 401(k) FormulaTM and judge for yourself.

If you take a serious look at our approach, I'm sure you will find that it is easy to understand, that it is based on common sense, and that it is supported by clear and convincing long-term evidence.

I invite you to begin the process of converting your 401(k) assets into a personal "wealth engine". Once you are convinced, subscribe and call me for your first consulting session. I look forward to working with you.

Sincerely,
Jerry Minton, Ph.D.
President
